The Hill House is arguably Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s residential masterpiece. Scottish architect, Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
Until recently, this iconic building was suffering prolonged decay from over a century of weather damage. Mackintosh was a revolutionary designer, however the materials and techniques at the cutting edge of architectural design in the early 1900s have not withstood the test of time.
