Negentropic Fields, as a publication, exists as the final component of a project of the same name, collecting conversations between curators and artists, and archiving the development of the project, alongside essays by theorists and writers. The hybrid project, which took place online and as a physical exhibition, is "a way of prototyping a platform for art collectives and for the public to construct and navigate through concepts that have spatio-temporal extensions. It is a “platform” for concepts to become legible processes made of “blocks”, for art’s actions to be re-organisable and to be collaborative throughout.
