More than 30 recent projects by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto are presented in this edition of the ‘Recent Project’ series, along with two interviews in which he considers perspectives and recurrent themes in his work, especially with regard to the 2013 Serpentine Gallery pavilion. Both realised and unbuilt projects since 2010 are explored in detail, along with urban planning proposals and exhibitions. Highlights include residences in Japan, California, Spain and Chile, the YUZ Museum in Shanghai, Souk Mirage/Particles of Light, a commercial complex in Belgrade, pavilions in Taiwan and Geneva, and gallery spaces in Berlin and Guangzhou.
