Immanuel Kant saw analogies as something essential in order for knowledge to be broadened. In this reissue, with markedly improved image processing, of the ‘classic’ that was first published in 1982, the architect O.M. Ungers places 128 city plans next to and in direct contrast with analogous photos of flora, fauna and the everyday world, which he found in his library.
