Introduction by Franco Purini, essays by Vittorio Gregotti, Pierluigi Nicolin and Micha Bandini
Franco Purini is foremost in a group of Italian architects whose explorations of the connections between memory, myth an architecture were highly influential in the early 1980s. Folio III contains a set of drawings on the theme of the eternal fascination of the city produced by Purini specially for the series. The drawings have the strong precise quality of etchings and are rich in symbolic and literary references.
