Mario Carpo is a historian of architecture and technologies. Dr. Arch University of Florence; PhD European University Institute. He has taught at the Université de Genève, School of Architecture of Saint-Etienne, School of Architecture of Paris-La Villette; Georgia Institute of Technology; Vincent Scully Visiting Professor of Architectural History, Yale University School of Architecture (2010-2014); Reyner Banham Professor of Architectural History and Theory at The Bartlett, ucl (2014-) and director of the Study Center of the Canadian Center for Architecture [CCA], Montréal (2002-2005).
