This book is a journey through favourite spaces - where memories, identity, and comfort unite. It is an exploration between photographer Fiona Cuypers-Stanienda and the people she portrays, capturing them within their favourite spaces, looking for the nuances that make the space come alive. In approaching this project, Fiona invited each participant to take her into a space they hold dear - a place where they feel most themselves. These intimate moments are documented in three carefully selected photographs: one portrait and two additional images that capture the atmosphere of the space.
